Bio-Cosmic Expanse

‘Bio-Cosmic Expanse’ is a large installation of paintings commissioned for the main ticketing lobby of the Nashville International Airport. The constellations mimic the planetary formation of our universe, while the individual paintings are inspired by investigations into contemporary science and microscopic imaging. The ambiguities created in merging these worlds help generate a curiosity for each viewer to form their own interpretation into these vast worlds–both infinitesimal and far-reaching.”
