

Through painting, animation, photography, video installation and social experiments, Thomas Everett Green explores ideas surrounding human impulse, obsession and addiction. He holds a BFA from Middle Tennessee State University, and an MFA from Memphis College of Art, where he was the 2012-2013 recipient of the Hohenberg Fellowship. His work has been shown in New York, Nashville, Memphis, Seattle, and the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock and has been featured in both print and online publications in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. He worked as curator for the Center for the Arts in Murfreesboro Tennessee in 2011 and 2012 and has contributed to publications including Taxi Art Magazine of Guadalajara, Mexico and Number: Inc. an Independent journal of the Arts for Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Currently, he hosts the online arts page, Featherjett Fine Arts, curates public works into colleges and private institutions and teaches foundations courses at South Seattle College. His video installations have been shown at the Bumbershoot arts festival in Seattle (2014), “D-Lectricity” nuit-blanche festival in Detroit (2014), Mid-America Science Museum’s planetarium for the “Arts and the Park” launch party in Hot Springs, Arkansas (2016), and at the School of the Visual Arts in New York. His paintings have been included in the collections of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, West Cancer Center, Cook Convention Center, Germantown Performing Arts Center, Nashville International Airport, The Waters Hotel and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
